Project Overview
About the Position
The University of Copenhagen offers a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) doctoral candidate position in the E-CoRe doctoral network, working on reversible programming languages as doctoral candidate DC1. Reversible computing studies programming models and languages in which computation can run backwards as well as forwards, with applications from energy-efficient computing to quantum programming and incremental computation.
The E-CoRe network trains doctoral candidates across European partner institutions with a structured programme of secondments, network-wide schools and joint supervision. The DC1 project at the University of Copenhagen's Department of Computer Science (DIKU) develops semantic and logical foundations for reversible languages, building on the department's leading role in this research area.
MSCA Conditions and Eligibility
As an MSCA doctoral candidate, the researcher receives a generous doctoral allowance plus mobility allowance under the MSCA unit rates, implemented through the Danish employment system. MSCA mobility rules apply: candidates must not have resided or carried out their main activity in Denmark for more than 36 months in the 36 months immediately before the call deadline. Applicants hold a master's degree (or equivalent) in computer science or a related field, and the working language of the network is English.
